I could not be more in love with the cool, fall-like weather we're having. I'd totally be OK with this kind of weather about 10 months out of the year.
I created a simple card that fits into a couple of challenges-black, white and a splash of red. Here we go:
Love the impression plate. Added a sentiment, a couple of flat adhesives and called it good. Well, not before ripping about 7 more of those red things from the card. Less is more, Kelly, less is more. I would actually like to whip out a few more of these cards to keep them on hand- this would be a good wedding card layout as well.
Here are links to the challenges I played with- there are tons of great cards!!

Really great card!! Love the little red gems and these would be great to have on hand. Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe. I'd love to know which book inspired your creation for CAS-ual Fridays :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and elegant! I love that you only included three of the gems. I agree that less is more. Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteWOW, such a gorgeous card! Absolutely beautiful. :)

Very nice. Really like the small 'pops' of red. And I can see that more than three would have been too much.
ReplyDeleteKel- I agree on the Sept weather. I love the cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteI also love the card. So elegant!
