And here is what I came up with....
I used some pattern paper from Basic Grey that I love but have been trying to figure out how to use. Decided today was the day to figure it out and since it reminds me of sort of a western style, I paired it with kraft paper and blue ink....
And, I tried a technique that I saw over at Gina K where you ink up your cuttlebug folder- so awesome and EASY!!! I simply inked up the folder (on the inside back side), laid my paper down and ran it through the Cuttlebug. It was that darn easy! Trimmed it up to get rid of extra ink in places ink shouldn't be and attached it to the card.
I taped down the ribbon on the back of the layer it lays off and finished it off with a popped up thank you sentiment.
Card Recipe:
paper- kraft from my stash, pattern paper vintage tee from Basic Grey
stamps- Darcey Collection- Anna Griffin
ink- prussian blue- colorbox chalk inkpad
Other- cuttlebug, cuttlebug argyle folder, ribbon, 3m foam tape
