I'm really liking this set of stamps and am trying to find new ways to use it. Once again, it is from Close To My Heart and is called The Beauty of Life. The happy birthday sentiment is also from CTMH and is from the Happy Birthday set. Colors are buttercup and goldrush.

3/30 {hopeful for spring card}

I, like everybody else I know, is ready and waiting for spring! This card looked spring like to me.
Had to use the new set of stamps I ordered from Close To My Heart called Thing Of Beauty. Colors are: sweet leaf, bubble gum and white. The top white piece of paper is mounted and has silver eyelets for the centers of the flowers. I also rounded some of the paper corners.

3/17 { easy birthday card }

I made a card similar to this (different colors) for my stamp club project the other night. The idea is so simple and easy to replicate, I couldn't help but try it with a different color combination.
I used breeze. ocean and sweet leaf- all Close To My Heart colors. The Happy Birthday stamp is from the Happy Birthday set. The two outer circles are from Small Pleasures and the inner, more solid circle is from It's a Party- all stamps are from Close To My Heart.
This layout would be quick and simple if you are in need of a really quick or last minute birthday card.

3/16 {card and a tag}
I made this card for a friend that had a baby last month. The letter b is from the Homestead Alphabet set by Close To My Heart and the letters that spell the word Blake are from distressed lower, also Close To My Heart. I scallop-punched the green paper. The letter B and the patterned paper are mounted.Ok, I've been tagged by a gal who's blog I've admired since I found it. Funny how small the blogging world is- if she hadn't of tagged me, I would have tagged her below.
I am to share 7 random and/or weird facts about myself and then tag 7 others for them to do the same thing. So, here goes:
- I will drive out of my way for a fountain diet coke
- I loved 30 Minute Meals before it was cool to watch Rachael Ray.
- Michael Jackson is my all-time-favorite-singer and I saw him in concert- twice.
- I once laid a wreath on the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
- I swam with dolphins in the Bahama's.
- I LOVE garage sales and have snuck out of work on Friday's to hit a good sale.
- All is right in my world when my carpet is vacuumed and you can see the vacuum lines. I used to get mad at my sister when we were little if she'd step on my floor after I'd just vacuumed it. I didn't want the lines to be messed up.

3/15 {birthday card}

I made this card for a friend. I'm really liking this card layout. I've gotten many uses out of this particular layout (and paper too). The second picture shows you that I mounted the patterned sheet of paper and the letters are Thickers by American Crafts. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Happy Birthday by Close To My Heart. I don't remember where I got the ribbon but I love it. It's flat on one side.

3/10 {how to stay energized while stamping}
This seemed to pretty to not take a picture of! I am going to stamp club tonight and it was my turn to bring food- I made this quick little dessert and I'm sure this will not disappoint the peanut gallery! I got the recipe from a Close To My Heart consultant.Chocolate Trifle
INGREDIENTS
1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup water
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (1.5 ounce) bar chocolate candy
DIRECTIONS
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8 ounces whipped topping until no streaks remain.
In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and half of the 12 ounce container of whipped topping. Repeat layers. Shave chocolate onto top layer for garnish. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
Heath Toffee Pieces make a nice addition. I like to add these to the layers and sprinkle some on top. I've made this with real whipped cream, too, and it is even better!

3/8 {friendship card}

I made this card using some retired scraps from an old set of papers called Old Friends from Close To My Heart. I also used a stamp from PSX that says it takes a long time to grow old friends. I am selling this card in my etsy shop

3/6 {I'm back}
I'm sorry for the long absence! I hope I haven't lost too many of my faithful readers. I've had some computer problems lately. Here is a bright, cheery card that I intended to use for a card class, ended up switching out the paper but used the design.The flower stamp is from The Giving Hand by Close To My Heart and the word stamp is from Green Thumb by Paper Trey Ink.
