Shimmer Card

I made this card for my co-worker who's wedding reception we attended a few weekends ago. Now that she's returned from her honeymoon, I've arranged a small celebration for her at work.

I made a strawberry jello cake with a layer of strawberries under the cool whip that we'll enjoy during our weekly progress meeting at work tomorrow.

This card is made out of pearl shimmer stock, layered with copper shimmer stock and again with pearl shimmer. I clear embossed the whimsical design from Autumn Leaves on the base of the stock. The spongy flowers are from paper trey ink. Love their style of stamps....they are stamped in cosmo copper by Brilliance and then clear embossed. I really like how it turned out.

A is for Addison

My friend had a baby girl and we went to visit them the other nigh, bearing gifts for Addison and pizza for the new parents. We picked up Dino's pizza- fabulous! If you live in this area- I highly recommend it.

They named her Addison and her nursery colors are pink and brown, so of course the card and altered letter had to match :)

I have this paper from Close To My Heart- its from the Adorable set and found two different ways to use it.

First, the altered letter is simply modge podged with the scrapbook paper. Easy!

The card uses the same patterned paper and I used my 1 1/2" circle punch and layered it with baby pink stock with the 1" punch and stamped the letters with Whimsy Caps from Close To My Heart.

The ribbon matches perfectly.

With Sympathy

I needed a sympathy card for my sister's in law's. I just ordered a set of swirl stamps off eBay by autumn leaves.

Love them almost as much as the sentiment stamp from papertreyink.


Colors are sweet leaf, cocoa and white from Close To My Heart.

I didn't realize its been so long since I've last posted....sorry!

I made this card for my co-worker. She was married today at a local park and we are attending her wedding reception tonight. I made this card from my new favorite set of stamps, Green Thumb from here. It doesn't show very well, but there are clear stickles in the flowers. Colors used were sweet leaf and cocoa from Close To My Heart. I really like the simplicity of the card.

Here is a card I made for fun.

I really like the simplicity of it.

I used white and breeze ink/paper. Stamps: Simple Blossoms, Small Pleasures, Friendship Blessings and For Every Occasion.

Used some white fuzzy fiber and white eyelets.

Another Baby Card

Apparently, its baby season. In addition to the shower I went to over the weekend, I have 3 ladies in my department all having babies within 6 weeks of each other.

I made this for my friend- its a composition notebook covered in paper. The inside cover has a message to her and her husband and the book was intended for notes during the hospital stay. Visitors, doctors comments & instructions, etc.

I made a matching card and its a little hard to read, but it says celebrate on the front of the card.

A baby card

I made this card for a friend who's baby shower I attended. She is due in August and has a cute little basketball protruding from her stomach.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except the bling in the center of the flowers- those are from Mrs. Grossman's.

The card looks shiny because of the clear envelope.

It was a fun shower and Anne liked her card!
